Napa County is a beautiful viticultural region home to vibrant urban centers and charming rural communities.

It’s also the eponymous home of Napa Valley, one of the world’s premier wine growing regions.

Napa County is located about 70 miles or an hour-and-a-half north of San Francisco, and about 60 miles or 1 hour 20 minutes west of Sacramento. It’s bordered by Sonoma County to the west and Solano County to the south.

People travel hundreds of miles just to visit it’s extraordinary vineyards and get a taste of its fine wines and award-winning restaurants.

But aside from food and wine, Napa County is also one of the finest real estate locations in the Bay Area. Some of the most exclusive homes and communities in the North Bay are located here.

It’s cities and towns are popular for their shops, restaurants and wealth of amenities. Breathtaking wine country views define its landscape. The Napa Valley’s famous rolling hills are a spectacular sight to see every day. And during the fall they come alive with fiery colors.

In 2010 Napa County was named “The World’s Best Wine and Food Destination” in the 2010 Travelers’ Choice Awards by TripAdvisor.
